I have been self employed for most of the past 39 years and Theresa has been right there with me the whole time. 

It all started right here on her Grandmother's porch in Newtown, Pennsylvania, just a short drive from my home in Trevose where I was born and raised. We have been in the Central Bucks area since 1995 where I have a small residential construction business. When I say small, I mean I was a one-man-show for the last 20 years, with Theresa taking care of the much of the admin work that can bog down a small business.

We raised two great sons who both showed their love for us by moving across the country as soon as they could! At least we don't have to feed them anymore. So now we travel a lot more than we used to. 

We do everything possible to spend time at the beach. Any beach will do, but we prefer Cape May, New Jersey. To give you some perspective, our oldest son was born in early May. Two weeks later he was on the beach for Memorial Day weekend! That's just good parenting.

Towards the end of the summer of my 60th year I suffered an achilles injury while playing softball. I took the 4-6 months of down time to make a change that would be easier on my body and started Moss Bookkeeping. With a degree in Economics and nearly 40 years as an entrepreneur, it was a perfect fit.

Now that I am free of the daily physical abuse from being a contractor, I can concentrate on the physical abuse of playing softball, golfing, and body surfing. Somebody has to teach my granddaughter these things.

You can be an adult, but you should never completely grow up!
